Systems Hardware Engineer

As a result of a number of key partnerships, we are currently collaborating with innovative organisations working with cutting edge technologies, driving the development of Military Systems for the Defence industry.

We are seeking applications from Systems Hardware Engineers who would be interested in full time roles supporting of Defence projects in Adelaide for integration of critical ICT and combatant military systems.

Engineers with a background in Safety, V&V, Project engineer and Systems are encouraged to apply.

Location: Greater Adelaide, Mawson Lakes, other.

Potential Tasks:

• Provide specialist advice and guidance on the delivery of engineering tasks
• Design and develop military systems and equipment including testing, integration, installing and managing the systems and equipment
• Derive system requirements, define the test requirements and participate in system design and system requirements reviews
• Undertake functional analysis to identify the optimum solution against a set of requirements and develop system specifications
• Perform integration and validation of complex ICT hardware system designs
• Ensure all documents and artefacts generated are in accordance with appropriate standard procedures and work instructions
• Manage key commonwealth customers and stakeholders for engineering delivery
• Experience in design of communications and network systems for military application.

Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor of engineering or relevant tertiary qualifications
• Experience across the full systems engineering life-cycle
• Knowledge of ICT hardware protocols and integration processes
• Strong communications skills both written and oral
• A high level of self-motivation, time management and organisational ability
• Australian Citizenship essential; Minimum NV1 or above level clearance required.
