Job Description

This global vendor has secured a major Defence project operating out of Canberra and Melbourne. With an existing team of nine Network Consultants, they are looking to expand their capability and bring on skilled professionals to support critical national security work.

As a Professional Services Consultant, you will work closely with clients to design, implement, and troubleshoot security solutions that meet their operational requirements. You'll be instrumental in providing high-level consulting while ensuring seamless deployment and integration of network security technologies.

Contract Duration: 12 months with likely extensions

Duties and Responsibilities

• Collect and analyse business and technical requirements to develop tailored security solutions.
• Produce solution documentation, including HLDs, LLDs, procedures, scripts, test plans, deployment plans, migration plans, and as-builts.
• Design, consult, implement, and troubleshoot network security solutions across various projects.
• Collaborate with IT integrators to ensure seamless deployment and transition to customer technical teams.

Education and Certifications Required

Tertiary qualification in IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field is highly regarded.
Industry certifications such as Palo Alto PCNSE, Cisco CCNP/CCIE Security, Fortinet NSX are highly desirable.

Knowledge and Skills Required

• Strong expertise in network security and consulting.
• Experience with Palo Alto, Cisco, and Fortinet security solutions.
• Ability to design, implement, and troubleshoot complex network security environments.
• Proven ability to produce detailed solution documentation to ensure smooth project delivery.
