NV2 Software Support Analyst - Defence Project | Canberra

Location: Canberra (On-site, Secure Government Facility)
Clearance: NV2 or higher (Australian Citizens only)
Cleared Recruitment is partnering with a global IT services provider to find an NV2 Software Support Analyst for a mission-critical Defence project. This role offers a long-term opportunity within a leading Defence and government contractor, providing exposure to cutting-edge technologies and high-security enterprise systems.

About the Role:

As a Software Support Analyst, you will play a key role in maintaining and optimising enterprise applications within a secure environment. You will be responsible for troubleshooting software issues, ensuring system performance, and providing technical support to key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 2/3 application support, troubleshooting software issues and escalating when required.
• Manage and maintain enterprise applications, ensuring stability, security, and peak performance.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve incidents efficiently.
• Perform routine system checks, monitor logs, and proactively identify potential risks.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including technical procedures and troubleshooting guides.
• Assist in application upgrades, patches, and deployments as needed.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Proven experience in a Software/Application Support role within a high-availability environment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows, Linux, SQL databases, and enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with ITIL frameworks, including incident and change management processes.
• Prior experience working within secure government or Defence environments (highly desirable).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Security Clearance:

Due to the nature of this role, you must be an Australian Citizen with an active NV2 Security Clearance or higher.
