Services Resource Manager

The Services Resource Manager is a vital member of the Services Delivery team and is responsible for scheduling the Services Delivery team and Co-Delivery Partners on client engagements. This role reports directly to the Geo Operations Manager.

A key focus during this period of growth is to build excellence in the processes that support resourcing, skills tracking, and the achievement of key utilisation targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a strategic business partner to GEO and Regional Services Delivery Leadership
• Review, manage, and execute the staffing of resource requests across Asia Pacific and Japan
• Lead weekly resource meetings and facilitate issue resolution with Regional Services Delivery Leadership
• Coordinate weekly sessions with Delivery Management to review active engagements, accelerate backlog completion, and support revenue conversion
• Maintain visibility into current and upcoming projects and related business development activities
• Drive alignment between Resource Management, Services Delivery Management, and Services Operations
• Manage and optimise billable and productive utilisation of services personnel
• Oversee resourcing and utilisation forecasting in alignment with revenue targets
• Monitor day-to-day project activities to identify underutilisation and work with Practice Leaders to optimise resource usage
• Collaborate with cross-functional leadership teams to contribute to strategic initiatives
• Build and maintain relationships with Services Partners to support project resourcing
• Manage competitive partner rates to achieve margin targets
• Track partner certifications and ensure a pool of high-quality resources
• Maintain partner spend targets in line with capacity planning
• Ensure skills matrices, CVs, and profiles are accurate and up to date
• Drive improvements in resource management processes
• Contribute to the development of best practices and knowledge sharing within the Resource Management function

Job Requirements:

• 5+ years' experience in resource management
• 3+ years' experience in a professional services organisation, software vendor, or consulting environment
• Experience with Professional Services Automation (PSA) tools
• RMI Certification is a plus
• Ability to thrive in high-demand, rapidly changing environments
• Strong professional communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent organisational and prioritisation abilities
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work within a complex, matrixed environment
