Cleared are currently supporting a fast growing Canberra-based consultancy that are searching for a Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in the delivery of ICT projects.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of ICT project management, excellent stakeholder engagement skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, complex projects within Federal Government agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of ICT projects, ensuring that all objectives are met within the agreed scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocations, risk management strategies, and budget controls.
  • Engage with stakeholders at all levels to ensure clear communication, alignment on project goals, and effective issue resolution.
  • Provide leadership and direction to multi-disciplinary and inter-company project teams, ensuring high performance and adherence to best practices in project management.
  • Monitor project progress, track key milestones, and prepare detailed status reports for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the project team, implementing lessons learned and promoting innovative solutions.


Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience as a Project Manager in ICT projects
  • Strong understanding of ICT environments, project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall), and best practices.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Relevant project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are highly desirable.
  • Experience working with federal government agencies


Security Clearance:

  • Due to the nature of the requirement, a minimum of an NV1 security clearance is required.
