Network Operations\Technical Lead

We are seeking a talented Operations\Technical Lead who excels in a dynamic environment, has a can-do attitude and provides outstanding customer support. You will be supporting a secure and robust Wifi network environment using Cisco technologies, Palo firewalls, AWS and other tools. You will assist with day-to-day support, Technical Guidance ensuring optimal performance, security and reliability for our high value client.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of our client multi-site Secure Wifi networks, prioritizing security, performance and reliability.
• Provide technical and operational guidance for the account and staff.
• Work with the SDM to ensure client satisfaction and that all SLAs are met.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot problems, and address incidents promptly.
• Take ownership of Problem and Incident resolution and provide guidance to other staff.
• Assist with vulnerability identification, patching, upgrades and new site build and deployments.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, processes and knowledge base articles.

Working Conditions

• Based in Deakin, ACT
• Permanent full time
• Australian Citizen with NV1 Security Clearance Mandatory

What will make you successful in this role?

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on Cisco technologies and Palo solutions.
• Experience in Cisco ISE, Cisco switches\Router and Wifi,
• Experience in Palo firewalls.
• Experience with AWS, Windows and Linus systems
• Experience with to Open Gear OOB(or similar), Beyond Trust and Tenable
• Experience with Palo Prisma (preferred)
• Experience with Monitoring (PRTG preferred)
• Experience working with the ISM and essential 8.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, security best practices
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
