Microsoft Windows Engineer - Immediate Start

Cleared is working with a vital member of Australia's national security community and looking to speak to a Microsoft Windows Engineer for a project based in Adelaide. This is an immediate start, subject to passing the department's Suitability Assessment.

About the Role
The project, has already started & you will be part of a major ICT Capability Development initiative, offering a 12-month contract with the possibility of a 24-month extension.

Candidates must hold a current NV1 or NV2 clearance and be willing to undergo the TSPV process.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and operate a Windows Server platform, including Active Directory, DNS, PKI, Remote Desktop Services, and WSUS.
• Design, test, and deploy new Windows OS versions, build and maintain system images, and provide integration for VMware.
• Integrate and support management and security software and configurations.
• Provide server automation and integrate with MFA solutions.
• Implement regular system status checks, including hardware and software assessments.
• Develop and operate a backup and recovery service for virtualised Windows systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Windows-related issues.
• Manage server migration when required.
• Assist with project planning, delivery, and work package management.
• Support ICT procurement activities for the Australian Government.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders and contribute to ICT project success.

Required Skills & Experience

• Ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to build productive relationships.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience supporting ICT projects.
• Experience procuring goods and services for government projects.

Other Requirements

• Australian Citizenship is mandatory.
• NV1 or NV2 AGSVA Security Clearance is required.
• Candidates must be willing to undergo an Organisational Suitability Assessment (OSA) before engagement.
