TSPV GIS Systems Administrators - Canberra & Bendigo

Cleared is proud to support a major Defence program seeking multiple GIS Systems Administrators for long-term contract roles in Canberra and Bendigo.

We are looking for experienced professionals with expertise in administering ArcGIS Enterprise at an enterprise scale. Candidates with experience managing multiple deployments and operating ArcGIS Enterprise in a disconnected environment are highly desirable.

As a GIS Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the ArcGIS ecosystem within a mixed business and technical team. This role is not suited for GIS users looking to transition into system administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and maintaining geospatial systems infrastructure
• Installing and configuring GIS software, hardware, and peripherals
• Developing scripts, databases, and applications to automate geospatial tasks
• Analysing data and producing maps, reports, and other visualisations
• Creating and maintaining metadata for geospatial datasets
• Fulfilling map and data requests
• Conducting geographical research and analysis
• Coordinating the collection, analysis, and dissemination of geospatial data

Requirements:

• Must hold a TSPV security clearance
• Will need to pass the department suitability assessment process (2-3 months)
• On-site presence required - remote work is not an option
• 12-month contract, commencing June/July
