TSPV Intelligence Analyst
We are seeking experienced **TSPV Intelligence Analyst's** to join a large federal government department in Canberra.
Location: Canberra
Contract Duration: 12 months X 1 Extension
Clearance Required: TSPV (TOP SECRET POSITIVE VETTING)
Start Date: Wednesday 1st January 2025
Job Closing Date: Thursday 11:59am 9th October 2024
**About the Opportunity**
These roles provide intelligence research and analysis services to aid the department in developing and implementing foreign policy, operational programs, and consular and crisis services. The position is essential for safeguarding and promoting Australia's interests by ensuring policymakers receive timely, relevant intelligence and advice tailored to their needs. It will require regular in-person interaction with departmental executives and other policy stakeholders to assess and address their intelligence requirements. This role is key to the department's ongoing transformation, enabling it to effectively respond to global trends and emerging national security challenges.
**Essential Capabilities**

- Ability to design and deliver processes to maximise efficiency of high volume taskings.
- Experience working in or with the National Intelligence Community (NIC).
- Personal drive and integrity.

- Ability to build and maintain productive internal and external relationships.
- Capacity to build organisational capability and continuous improvement.
- Personal resilience and the ability to work at a fast pace under pressure.
**Required Skills & Experience**
- Research and analysis on foreign policy and intelligence matters of relevance to the operational needs of the department.
- Support coordination and collaboration across the department on intelligence matters.
- Flexible and agile delivery of intelligence services in a manner responsive to business needs while ensuring adherence to whole-of-government policies.
- Engagement with the Senior Executive Service and facilitation of their engagement with NIC agencies.
- Improve intelligence literacy among employees to increase awareness of available intelligence services and how to access them.
- Support for the ongoing reform and modernisation of the department's intelligence capability, change management and strategic communication.
- Participate in an after-hours duty roster.
