Cleared Recruitment is partnering with a Canberra-based Management Consultancy that is actively seeking a Test Manager to join their team. This position is based in Canberra starting ASAP!

The Test Manager will play a crucial role in coordinating and implementing testing strategies, managing test teams, and ensuring alignment with project timelines and objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement testing strategies and processes aligned with project goals, stakeholder expectations, and compliance standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and coordinate a team of testers and quality assurance professionals to ensure a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Oversee all phases of testing, including system, integration, user acceptance, and performance testing. Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and schedules to meet project objectives.
  • Identify potential risks and issues early in the testing process and proactively develop mitigation strategies to ensure project continuity and quality outcomes.
  • Engage with project managers, developers, and key stakeholders to communicate testing progress, results, and any critical findings or issues.
  • Ensure all testing documentation is accurate, thorough, and compliant with regulatory requirements. Manage test data and maintain a clear audit trail.
  • Drive continuous improvements in testing practices, tools, and methodologies, leveraging automation and data analytics where appropriate.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum Baseline Security Clearance; NV1 or NV2 highly advantageous.
  • Minimum of 4-6 years in a testing or quality assurance role, with 2+ years in a test management or leadership position.
  • Strong knowledge of test management tools, testing methodologies, and automation frameworks. Experience in agile testing environments is beneficial.
  • Proven ability to manage, mentor, and develop test teams, with a track record of driving quality outcomes and continuous improvements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to ensure thorough testing and issue resolution.
