The ideal candidate will bring expertise in software and virtualisation packaging, delivering exceptional support across their Defence portfolio and ensuring high-quality solutions for their valued clients.

Application Packager
We have a rare opportunity based out of our clients Canberra office for an Application Packaging professional to join their team of experts.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Extensive knowledge in application packaging, upgrades, and deployments in a large-scale hybrid Windows environment
• Support technical issues related to customer infrastructure within an established ITIL framework.
• Understand the customer environment to deliver tailored and effective solutions.
• Follow and enhance established procedures while recommending and implementing improvements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application packaging issues, escalating as needed to ensure timely resolutions.
• Take ownership of issues, providing optimal solutions or workarounds.
• Proactively learn and apply new products and technologies to meet evolving business needs.
• Assist in the development of standards, procedures, and guidelines for service improvement.
• Identify and contribute to Customer Service Improvement Plans to drive enhanced outcomes.

Requirements and Experience:

• 4+ years of experience packaging software into MSI format.
• 3+ years of experience with application virtualisation packaging.
• Advanced skills in App-V and PowerShell scripting.
• Experience delivering package solutions in a XenApp environment and enterprise deployment mechanisms.
• Strong understanding of application packaging and deployment methodologies using Windows Installer technology.
• Knowledge of Microsoft deployment methodologies for Windows operating systems.
• Experience troubleshooting App-V, SCCM, and Intune deployment issues.
• Familiarity with integrating applications into enterprise deployment systems.
• Must hold a current or reinstatable NV1 Security Clearance.
