Opportunity

Cleared are working closely with a provider of Communications and Soldier Systems that are experiencing steady growth from being aware of the challenges faced and also the innovative solutions required by the Military, Law Enforcement & Emergency Services.

This particular role requires an individual with experience of negotiating contracts or the knowledge of relevant decision makers within the user community as well as procurement stakeholders.

You will be responsible for contributing to and executing a strategy for Defence, including end users, Prime Contractors and the wider Commonwealth. communicating your knowledge and understanding of the applications, challenges and bigger picture requirements, providing opportunity development and marketing skills, ensuring project award and enduring relationships. This will often involve multiple solutions, across various platforms and technologies and occasionally multiple supplier alliances.

Responsibilities

  • Opportunity identification, solution development and strategy
  • Review business performance and develop initiatives to develop and sustain customer relationships
  • Develop a strong and effective network of stakeholders, partners, new and existing clients
  • Drive compelling tender, bid and proposal activities
  • Ensure development of new business opportunities through proactive engagement
  • Analyse and report on market trends and develop and implement sound business plans

Person required

  • Strong networks within the Defence, Law Enforcement, Primes or CASG
  • Background within Army Signals, Communications or Electronics
  • Knowledge of Procurement and Acquisition within Defence or Government
